At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, we build relationships. Trusting, enduring relationships that create new memories. Relationships that build communities. And improve lives.
That’s why, atop our headquarters in St. Louis, we built Anew – a rooftop event space and streetside test kitchen. Because there’s no better place to come together than around a table.
Anew gives us a chance to strengthen the connections among our network of friends and supporters. It’s a chance for us to bring our mission to more people than ever. But most of all, it’s a chance to make St. Louis better and stronger than ever.
Anew sits at the crossroads of history, and is a tribute to those who have sought to bring us all together. The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri building once held the St. Louis Woolworth store. It was the site of sit-ins in the 1950s, and protests in the 1960s. Today, we are proud that it is a place where anyone is welcome.
The Anew Rooftop and Test Kitchen stands as a constant reminder that to move forward, we must sit with each other.
